Information on Religious Education
2022 - 2023 School Year
Registrations are being accepted for all children, first grade and older, for Religious Education classes.
All children will attend the 9:00 AM Mass followed by Religious Education classes. Registration forms are available in the back of the Church and at the Rectory office.
There is no Religious Education class on Sunday, October 9th, in observance of Columbus Day.
Next class is Sunday, October 16th.
Our Religious Education Program is for all children in grades 1 through 8. Please keep in mind that two years of basic religious instruction are required for First Communion, and all children are required to continue religious education classes until they have been confirmed. Religious formation in their relationship with God and instruction in their faith is an important building block in a solid Catholic foundation. Since books and materials must be ordered ahead of time, we need your cooperation in this endeavor, so please register now.
New Registrations: A copy of your child’s Baptism Certificate and First Communion (if applicable) is required (unless Sacraments were received here at Our Lady of Sorrows).
